Death of the Forth
The Forth Royal were deployed to Caledonia in 2841 to counter the Kurita Invasion lead by Lord Hugai Kurita. The Forth faced a Kurita force of two 'Mech Regiments and single Armor regiment. Colonel Hinders believed he could push the invasion force of the planet.
Over the course of the battle for the planet. The Caledonia Aerodomes were comprised and destoyed by the Kurita forces. Which clearly showed that there was a traitor in the Command Structure. Colonel Hinders and his brother Michael look in vain to find the spy. However, the unit was finally defeated by Kurita forces in July.[1]
Hugai Kurita feeling need for entertainment, offered Colonel Hinder opportunity to find the traitor. Which he lept at the chance to take revenge for his destroyed unit. Colonel was a unarmed Thunderbolt BattleMech and put into a bowel shaped valley, where he faced off traitor of his unit, in identical Thunderbolt, that also had been disarmed. Both machine's clashed one another as Kurita forces watched from all side of the bowel shaped valley. Colonel Hinder prevailed and defeated the "traitor", after removing cockpit canopy to find discover his brother Michael had been piloting the machine. Then Hugai fire laser into the Colonel's cockpit and killed him.[2]
The unit demise was video taped and sent to Archon Claudius Steiner by Kurita force. Claudius secretly indicated his Operation Praying Mantis which ultimately avenged the 4th by killing then Coorinator Yoguchi Kurita.[3]
