Bogdan "The Steel Beast" was a famous Solaris Gladiator during the Succession Wars. He was known for his arrogant attitude and ruthless fighting style that caught the attention of House Steiner.
Description
The mercenary liaison of the Lyran Commonwealth, Alban Stieglitz-Bradford contacted the mercenary crew for help in avenging the death of his nephew, Arjun. When asked about the details of the contract, Alban stated that a man by the name of Bogdan "The Steel Beast" Tubbs had fought his nephew in a match that cost him his life. He goes on to explain that Tubbs used unfair and brutal methods to win the match unfairly. Alban would also detail the mercenary company about fighting his own fan-club and ways to draw out Tubbs. After destroying the fans of the Steel Beast, Alban would suggest that the next plan would be to take over the media that Tubbs used. By doing this, it would cause enough noise to draw out the target. The security forces put up a good fight, but in the end, they were no match for the mercenaries and surrender to them. This would cause Bodgan to come out of hiding. Tubbs would later challenge the mercenary commander while hurling insults and boosting his ego. The commander would accept his challenge while deciding on what tonnage to bring to the battle.[1]
Death
Upon fighting the Mercenary Commander and his lance, Tubbs and his remaining crew would be killed by them in combat.
BattleMechs
Bogdan piloted a FrankenMech known as "The Big Steel Claw". The mech was described as " having the body of a Crab with the ammo feed of an Urbanmech ". The mech was later salvaged by the victorious mercenary unit.
