Brian "Chippy" Dugan is an illustrator who has been working, among other things, for Wizards of the Coast's collectible card game Magic: The Gathering from 1996 through (at least) 2015. When Wizards of the Coast produced the BattleTech Collectible Card Game, he illustrated a number of cards for that game as well.

According to his blog (apparently abandoned, last entry on 3 October 2009), "'Chippy' comes from a push bike I owned as a kid and that it was smallest in a range made by Raleigh, the biggest being the classic Chopper."
