Coreward Confederacy

The Coreward Confederacy is a primitive state located in the coreward section Deep Periphery, near the Aquila Rift.

History: Jonathan Chafins II founded the Coreward Confederacy- then styled as the Autocracy of New Virginia- in 2371.The owner of Chaffins Colonial Development Corporations, Chaffin sought to create his own private kingdom. It was established far from Terran space. Chaffins' rule proved unpopular, and his last act before being lynched was to scuttle most of the Autocracy jump fleet.

The Rim Worlds Republic conquered the systems of the Autocracy in the 2700s. The population was swelled by Rim Worlds Refugees fleeing vengeful SLDF forces. In 2798, the Virginian Union was reborn.

Militarily, the Confederacy lacks battlemechs and only has primitive aerospace fighters and vehicles.
