Corrosive Fluid

Corrosive Fluid is a mixture of generally volatile liquids intended to be used in controlled industrial applications, usually to melt away hardened debris from demolition.

This corrosiveness has some practical applications in combat, as a result of it's "metal eating" properties, and has been occasionally seen on Solaris VII on certain 'Mechs.

With luck, this corrosive liquid can eat away nearly a ton of armor in a single spray (though generally this is all over the place, and not concentrated). It will also stick to and burn away at the affected target for another ten seconds on average, and continue to burn up to half a ton of additional armor from the victim until the liquid neutralizes.

This is a very volatile liquid to store, however. A rupture to a liquid tank carrying this type of liquid will eat away at the internal structure of the vehicle which experienced the rupture, with the same effects as would have affected the intended target.
