Dana Briggs was the long-time commanding officer of the First Free Worlds Guards starting in 3053 and lasting until at least 3085.[1][2]

Colonel Briggs was given command of the First Free Worlds Guards in 3053 and was stationed on Callison with the regiment by 3059.[1] Although injured during her unit's defeat during the Great Refusal (and being the likely culprit behind a whisper campaign to undermine the Knights of the Inner Sphere), Briggs still held her position in 3067.[3] Surviving the Jihad and joining the Garda Palatini of the Marik-Stewart Commonwealth, Colonel Briggs and her unit devastated the Republic Armed Forces on Augustine at the cost of 80% of the First Guards.[4]
