Lieutenant Della Nichols was the commander of Red Flight, Orbital/Aerospace Operations Group of Wolf's Dragoons as of 3030.[1]

Nichols first came to prominence during a raid on Proserpina, when she flew a Transit medium aerospace fighter at low altitude to avoid detection, and was therefore able to destroy an enemy repair and fuel facility before the defenders could mount a response.
Nichols was promoted to command of Red Flight after this daring feat, which she leads in a similar vein. She was later given a Riever heavy aerospace fighter in 3029, which sported three kill markers after only a year in service with her.[1]
