History
The Edward Davion was a Federated Suns WarShip as of 2600. Its exact type is unknown.
The only instance where it is mentioned has unclear wording that suggests the Edward Davion was either one of the two operational carrier WarShips remaining to the Federated Suns at the time (the other being the Enterprise), or otherwise a vessel somehow connected to the Enterprise, possibly as an escort.[1]
Canonicity
The Edward Davion only appears in the German-only novel En Passant. As a foreign-language product, this novel is not currently counted among the canonical BattleTech sources. It is an official BattleTech product though, and as such should be regarded as apocryphal.
