Elton Sneed was the commanding officer of the Fourth Capellan Defense Force as of 3085.[1]

Sang-shao Elton Sneed, serving with the Fourth Capellan Defense Force, was stationed on Homestead in 3085.[1] A quiet and non-confrontational graduate of Sian University, Sneed was given command of the Fourth CDF when the previous CO was killed in action. Two weeks after this, the surviving members of Marshigama's Legionnaires were folded into Sneed's unit, quickly spreading their bad habits to the impressionable CDF troops. Despite insistent orders from his superior officers to reign the unit in, "Uncle Elton" remained at a loss as to how he could control his unruly unit.[2]
At an unspecified point between 3085 and 3145, Sang-shao Sneed received a medical discharge due to chronic ulcers, beginning a trend of the Fourth CDF's commanders being as rowdy and uncontrollable as the soldiers under their command.[3]
