components with the Roadster, including the batteries and motor. Batteries provide

enough power to carry a fully-laden Traveler 473 kilometers without recharging. The

Roadster’s motor (and a different transmission) cannot deliver the same acceleration to

the Traveler, but manages to achieve almost the same top speed. A heavily-reinforced

frame, tested against all contingencies (including light weapons!) provides plenty of safety,

while comfortable seating for up to eight provides plenty of room. All of these precautions

take on new light when one considers that this is still an Aston-Martin product: the Traveler

is capable of speeds over a hundred-fifty kilometers per hour.<ref name=TROVA20-21/>

Description[edit]

The Fiver Traveler is the companion to the smaller Fiver Roadster. It was Aston-Martin's first family focused effort. The company tried to link the two vehicles in the public's mind by creating a new ad campaign.[1][2]

Though it shares many components with the Roadster, the Traveler doesn't have the same acceleration as the Roadster. This isn't surprising since the engine wasn't designed to move a vehicle that weighs 2.5 times as much as the Roadster. The Traveler will, however, eventually reach the same top speed as the Roadster. To reach this level of performance, however, the Traveler had to reduce its range. It will cover 520 km on a single charge, while the Roadster will cover 1000 km.[1][2]

The Fiver Traveler has three wheels in the rear and two up front.[1][2]

Cargo[edit]

210 kg standard (1 Door (Rear))[1][2]

Notes[edit]

Features 8 crew/passenger seats (600 kg)[1][2]
