The GKT Volunteer Regiment was assigned to defend New Oslo and the Gorton, Kingsley & Thorpe Enterprises (GKT) plant, the only 'Mech factory in the FRR.[1]

The unit made an spirited defense to the attack by Clan Wolf but they were destroyed in the defense of New Oslo.

The unit was formed by several Panthers, Archers and Phoenix Hawks (PXH-1 or PXH-1K) from the GKT 'Mech plant.[2]
