The other was being built at the Clan Jade Falcon Butler Shipyards. Both JumpShips finished together in April 3152.

The Shipyards personnel quickly exploited the opportunity this victory represents: the construction Invaders K-F core hadn't been scheduled for completion in two months, but the Horses Invader was there, so their loot it, completing the construction invader. The Gift Horse was an AML JumpShip of the IlClan Era

Operational History

In April 3152 Clan Hell's Horses actively decided to seize the Butler shipyards, but sent only a solahma aerospace Trinary to attack it. This decision was made by the Horses as the newly born Alyina Mercantile League was seen as a weak chalcas abomination. This proved to be a mistake, as the system was defended by the capellan-origin Mercenary unit Light of Heaven. Having hidden inside the empty hull of the unfinished AML Invader, the mercenary's surprised the horses and destroyed or captured all of the attacking DropShips. AML forces then pursued the Horses' Invader-Class and bombarded its bridge, ensuring it couldn't jump away.[1] The Shipyard personnel quickly exploited the victory, looting the K-F core from the horses' ship to complete the unfinished AML Invader whose K-F drive was not scheduled to be completed for another two months. Receiving permission from his superiors to name the vessel, the yardmaster christened the newly built JumpShip AMLS Gift Horse, both an ironic joke and insult against the Clan Hell's Horses.[2]
