Horatio Hawkins was a MechWarrior, likely with the Third Lyran Guards who gained fame for defeating an entire Free Worlds League lance by himself. He is the descendent of Nelson Drake of the Third who fought a rear-guard action on Tharkad against Claudius Steiner in 2844.[1]
