Jojo McClintock commanded a Kelswa assault tank in the Lyran Commonwealth Armed Forces before deserting when Clan Wolf assaulted Hyde. He escaped to Galatea, where he signed on with a new merc unit that had acquired a crewless Kelswa. He soon took over and renamed the unit Jojo's Jesters.
McClintock signed a contract with the Free Worlds League for garrison duty, but upon learning the Lyran Commonwealth had put a price on his head, he hired out the unit to the Capellan Confederation and was stationed on New Aragon two weeks before Task Force Navarre came calling.[1]
