Captain Kirk Hoff was the commander of Hoff's Company (Firewalkers), Charlie Battalion, Epsilon Regiment of the Wolf's Dragoons as of 3028.[1]

History
Hoff was reputed to have a nature diametrically opposed to clean freak Major Richard Jarrett, the commander of Baker Battalion of Epsilon Regiment, being an extremely slovenly man who was often unshaven and with a cigarette in his mouth.
Despite always being on report by Major Jarrett, Hoff was considered one of the best medium 'Mech commanders in the Dragoons, until his death during the Battle of Misery in 3028. Captain Hoff's body was never recovered after this battle.[2]

Hoff was known to pilot a Rifleman BattleMech, which he called "Oscar".[1][2]
