Laurel's Legion

History

Raised by a retired member of the Northwind Highlanders in 3014.

In the 4th Succession War two companies retreated after the failed defense of Tigress but one defected to the Federated Suns. The other two companies were later used on Kawich where they took part in Operation Riposte and this time both defected to the Federated Suns.

Known as the only all-female mercenary unit in the Inner Sphere.

The Legion remains at battalion strength with regard to the BattleMech corps. In last time he has also picked up two battalions of infantry, the Tigress Citizens’ Brigade. Each member is an expatriate from Tigress. When we return home, it will be my greatest pleasure to discharge them and name them citizens of Tigress and of the Confederation, says Sang-shao Laurel.
