History
The Lazy Eights were a battalion-sized mercenary command formed from elements of the Star League Defense Force Eighth Striker Regiment, an independent regiment within XLVIII Corps, a part of the SLDF Seventeenth Army.[1] Other survivors from the Eighth had merged with elements of the 1894th Light Horse to form the new Second Ceti Hussars Regimental Combat Team[2] in 2784 - other elements of the 1894th also going on to form a part of the Blue Star Irregulars.[3]
