The Light Bridgelayer is the lightest and weakest, but most portable, of all bridging devices. It is used to deploy a 30 meter bridge weighing 1 ton, used to cross rivers, terrain of up to 30 meters apart and 6 meters in differing heights, or other difficult terrain. The light bridgelayer has a standard load of 8 tons, but can support up to 16 tons of weight crossing it at any given time before collapsing.[1][2]
