Attending The Kubert School, Wallace graduated in 1996 before beginning work as a freelance artist. For five years Wallace would work almost exclusively as a freelance illustrator for a variety of roleplaying games, including working on a number of BattleTech and Shadowrun titles, before securing freelance jobs in the DC Comics licensing department, illustrating children books and comics tie-ins of DC comics character TV shows and movies. While primarily working in the comics-licensing illustration field, Loston Wallace has worked on a number of full comic series as well.
