Overview
The Man-Portable Flamer or Man-Pack Flamer is a portable flamethrower carried by soldiers into battle as a potent anti-infantry device. The flamer can deliver a constant stream of burning chemicals over several hundred square meters in short order. However, the person assigned this weapon must carry the chemicals in an encumbering tank strapped to their backs. Should a particularly lucky (or well-aimed) shot hit the tank, the resulting explosion can cause sever burns to them.[1]
