While moving to counter the orbital guns, we encountered a small problem: the Icarus has been shot down.
We’ve hot-dropped you out of the wounded Icarus. Locate it and protect it.
Objective: Protect the Icarus

Foster: Multiple enemies closing. No sign of our boy.
Natalia: He’ll be here.
Foster: Looks cold out there.
Foster: Just a little bit…ah, there we go! Sir, can you read us?
Natalia: Captain, we are in decent shape. Though all weapons are offline, the Word troops don’t know that. They’re holding back, for now.
Foster: They know now! Multiple contacts! ‘Mechs and tanks!
Foster: More enemies inbound! Oh crap! Looks like a Timber Wolf or a Mad Cat, with friends!
Foster: Radar clear. We are safe!
Natalia: Not in this sitting duck. We need to establish a safe base and destroy the orbital guns before they lay waste to the invasion. It might be a while before we get back into a warm bunk.
