Meers-Skobel Defense Corporation was founded by Dame Yelena Torowicz in 3063. Based on Terra, the company was hired by the Word of Blake to review Star League designs and see how they could be upgraded for use on modern battlefields. A secondary task assigned to the company was to examine the records for any hint of experimental or advanced technology that the Word could use. The company is best known for their updated Nightshade helicopter, which mounts a light PPC, in addition to several electronics systems.[1]
