Melissa Steiner II

Melissa Steiner II - 32nd Century Archon of the Lyran Commonwealth. She is a savvy and cunning Politician. She had guided her nation through the peaceful years of 32nd century since taking power, until HPG Blackout.

Not wanting to take chances having her nation attacked, Archon Melissa set into motion in November of 3136 military campaign into the Free Worlds League to keep other interstellar nations from thinking House Steiner was weak.

Taking a deadly gamble on having her cousin and aide Trillian Steiner to negotiate a deal Clan Wolf-in-Exile to convince them to have their cousins in Clan Wolf to attack with House Steiner forces into old Free World League. Also have her cousin ride herd on military expedition as her envoy with troublesome Duke Vedet Brewster leading the expedition and the Wolves.

She had secretly had Leutnant-General Gunter Duiven, her head of Lyran Intelligence Corps' elite Loki branch investigate events of Jade Falcon raid on Algorab and later completely cleared Roderick Frost name from the events. She in fact wanted to make sure that he was truly not at fault.
