Mountain Vista is a village on Verthandi, located to the southeast of Regis.[1] It was the target of a punitive raid ordered by Governor-General Masayoshi Nagumo.[2] The village was 80 percent burnt to the ground, and the survivors would take a long time to rebuild.[3]
