Overview
The "Shredder" Heavy Needler is a needler rifle produced by Omnitech for the Lyran Alliance.[1] The Shredder is design specifically to overcome the needler rifle's usual ineffectiveness against armor. Its high-speed cutters launch the heavy flechette rounds at much greater speeds than normal, allowing it to penetrate armored targets more effectively.
