The mercenary company Steel Trap joined garrison troops from Irian to investigate rumors of suspicious intra-system jumps by a group of merchant JumpShips in 3136.
On Miaplacidus, they fought a large smuggler operation, in which many of the smugglers escaped after inflicting heavy damage. Leading the smugglers forces were three BattleMechs in the livery of Republic of the Sphere Knights.[1]
