Takayoshi Fuchida was a professor Kyoto University that worked at Stanford University on a five year research assignment. He worked with the team of scientists on the creation of the prototype fusion reactor. Along with Thomas Kearny he created the theoretical background for the creation of faster-than-light travel.

Takayoshi Fuchida died in 2038 from heart failure a broken and disgraced man.
