:It's mentioned in the MAC sourcebook, although not in great detail. It seems Archie McCarron set up MTC for black market arms dealing but it grew into a real trading enterprise and eventually, when the MAC received land grants in the CC (esp. Menke), expanded into production. Much like Wolf's Dragoons with their Blackwell plant on Outreach.
