I concede that the referencing system is different here but the reason for this is that the references refer to individual named ships, to show that they’re given a specific prefix. That’s better suited for what this article is trying to do than the usual reference system. All ships invariably have their own article. Any further references can be found there. - Respectfully disagree. I concede that the referencing system is different here but the reason for this is that the references refer to individual named ships, to show that they’re given a specific prefix. That’s better suited for what this article is trying to do than the usual reference system. All ships invariably have their own article. Any further references can be found there.
