I was going to say "good find" on your assertion that the ''Phobos'' must've been the unnamed DropShip that Khaled lost when he broke the blockade with 2nd Battalion in September 3056. However, the ''Day of Heroes'' sourcebook is an absolute trainwreck and contradicts itself on the matter. And the novels aren't helpful either.

Your argument rests on the fact that the three DropShips were the ''Phobos'', ''Medea'', and ''Io''; and that the latter two are mentioned later one while only the ''Phobos'' isn't. However, the ''Io'' is a ''Leopard'' whereas the text is very specific in that Khaled's forces traveled on three ''Union''s. Which leaves another, unnamed ''Union'' unaccounted for. And no, I don't have a good explanation for why the ''Io'' appears in the scenario lineup at all.

There is a ''Union'' named ''Phobos'' in the GDL lineup as of 3065 according to ''The Dying Time''. Which basically says nothing - the GDL in particular had a habit of using the same name(s) for different vessels as if they deliberately tried to obfuscate what aerospace assets they had. Realistically, I suppose it's more a case of the writer(s) being unsure what ship was of which class, but ultimately we're bound by what was published as canon and have to make sense of it. Destruction in 3056?=

I was going to say "good find" on your assertion that the Phobos must've been the unnamed DropShip that Khaled lost when he broke the blockade with 2nd Battalion in September 3056. However, the Day of Heroes sourcebook is an absolute trainwreck and contradicts itself on the matter. And the novels aren't helpful either.

Your argument rests on the fact that the three DropShips were the Phobos, Medea, and Io; and that the latter two are mentioned later one while only the Phobos isn't. However, the Io is a Leopard whereas the text is very specific in that Khaled's forces traveled on three Unions. Which leaves another, unnamed Union unaccounted for. And no, I don't have a good explanation for why the Io appears in the scenario lineup at all.

There is a Union named Phobos in the GDL lineup as of 3065 according to The Dying Time.
