Relation to Flashpoint (Novel)

I've read this story before. Am i crazy, but isn't this related to Flashpoint. The hero's family (David McCarthy) was celebrating his return. Little girl is a relative of his, this was actually taking point during the novel. Am I wrong? -- Wrangler (talk) 16:53, 8 August 2013 (PDT)

I am lead to believe that it is in fact related to Flashpoint just from that Plot Summary. The date and setting both makes sense, so I would assume that it is. -BobTheZombie (talk) 17:14, 8 August 2013 (PDT)

I read this short story in the BC anthology, but since I haven't read Flashpoint yet I missed this connection. It is definitely worth mentioning in a "Notes" section in the article. Thanks for finding this Wrangler! Frabby (talk) 01:14, 9 August 2013 (PDT)
