Purpose

• This template is placed on pages containing articles regarding products that cannot be considered as official, licensed or canon products of BattleTech. While appearing similar to articles on official material, the Fanon articles deal specifically with assets of that particular fan's own universe. The template instructs the reader to also respect the article's integrity by not altering any aspect of the page, other than to correct categorization or administration issues (but not including spelling, punctuation or grammar).

Usage

• Cut & Paste {{NonCanonProduct}} into the lead section of a page, following any disambiguation link, but before other lead section contents (per Help:Article Layout).
