A two-time Solaris Champion, Vanh Daravivanh's second victory in 3008 was a near thing with the irascible and arrogant James O'Gordon, commander of the recently destroyed O'Gordon's Rifles mercenary unit, narrowly losing to the reigning Champion. The next year O'Gordon would succeed in unseating Daravivanh, going on for his own four year run as Grand Champion.[2] [3]
