The Voice Distorter is a small device designed to disguise the voice of its user and can be placed near their mouth, held to a telecom receiver or incorporated into a helmet. An internal microphone, amplifier, and speaker modify the user's voice to make it metallic-sounding and more difficult to identify to the casual listener. Recordings of the individual, however, can be analyzed by a modified voice distorter and used to identify them.[1]
