Black creeper is a flowering vine found on New Hessen. The black-leafed, blackish-green vine gains its color from the iron it is rich with. Its outer husk is constantly cast off, rotting away; the resulting smell of rotting vegetation is one of its distinctive features, resembling decaying ragweed or dandelion during its summer flowering season. Black creeper is pervasive, comparable to Terran kudzu; by 3135, all attempts to wipe it out had failed.[1][2][3]
