After Jenny Lynch's death, her estate tried to keep the royalties of her books claiming that she was just frozen and would be resurrected in the future. A court in the Capellan Confederation ruled against is prior to 3075. In 3075, Tames DuVall, Minister of Ways and Means, ruled in a similar way on the Federated Suns courts, though Deborah Madeoy, the estate's speakers said it was just a setback and that all would be cleared once the scientists could revive Jenny Lynch from her cryogenic freezing process.[1]
