The Doom Mushroom, found on Laureles, was a species of fungus known among local farmers as a problem. The mushrooms grew well under warm and wet conditions and in the rich soil of Laureles, and could reach three meters of height within days. Mature doom mushrooms, when handled roughly enough, released thick clouds of vision-obscuring spores. Farmers learned to try to clear the mushrooms out before they could mature.[1]
