Continuing the Quest[edit]

Following the death of the disgraced Star Captain Edwin Bekker, Fitzsimmons was chosen to replace him as the new Star Captain of the 72nd Cluster. She introduced herself to the new Ghost Bear Mechwarrior as their new commander stating that despite what happened between the Mechwarrior and his former commander, she would not accept insubordination. After the brief introduction, both her and warriors under her command headed to the planet Jeanette immediately. There, she commanded the warriors on board the Justice as they fought weakened (but still fierce) warriors of Clan Smoke Jaguar while fighting their forces. Fitzsimmons and her Ghost Bear warrior continued their pursuit of the Smoke Jaguars until their Trial of Possession for the information on the world of Garstedt.[1]

Trial of Possession and Defense on Alshain[edit]

Alright Mechwarrior, the Jaguars have staged a Trial of Possession. When we land, give them your all or we have to go home empty-handed.

Fitzsimmons to the Mechwarrior before fighting Clan Smoke Jaguar.

On Garstedt, Clan Smoke Jaguar and Clan Ghost Bear fought a Trial in which the Ghost Bears emerged victorious despite the former breaking their bid. After the trial between the Ghost Bears and the Smoke Jaguars, they learned that Clan Wolf was responsible behind their theft. However, before the 72nd Trinary could react, Fitzsimmons and her forces were alerted that mercenary units were attacking the Ghost Bear capital of Alshain. She deployed her forces on the world successfully repelling the attack against the mercenary forces learning new information in the process. The capture mercenary confessed that they were hired by Clan Wolf to attack them, but given the altered insignia, it was speculated that one of the Wolf groups were responsible for the attack on Alshain: The Crusader Wolves or the Warden-minded Clan Wolf-in-Exile, whos Khan is known for their family ties to the Kell Hounds mercenary unit. In order to find out which would faction stole their genetic heritage, 72nd would be tasked to hunt down the Crusader faction. But before the 72nd, headed out, Fitzsimmon would reward the Ghost Bear Mechwarrior for their remarkable service on the field.[2]

Trial of Position[edit]

After impressing Fitzsimmons with the defense of Alshain from the mercenaries, she recommended that the Ghost Bear Mechwarrior be offered a Trial of Position. The Mechwarrior fought valiantly for their rank and while confident, she reminded the warrior not to get a big head as they deployed to another world immediately.[3]
