Graham Gilliam was a MechWarrior in the 21st Illician Rangers during the last years of the Third Succession War.[1]

As part of the two Battalions of the 21st Illician Rangers sent to defend Galtor III under Federated Suns contract during the last years of the Third Succession War, they were on planet when Wolf's Dragoons came to the planet under a Draconis Combine contract to raid Galtor III.
The unit globally fought well and give his best against Wolf's units. He was assigned to Levon Grant's company as the leader of his own Recon Lance. His unit found the Black Widows Company Recon Lance and after the engagement only one Mech per side was able to leave the field with their own power, his BattleMech amongs them.
Retiring to the position of Grant's lance, he helped in the hard fight to get the salvageable BattleMechs from his lance from the Widow's Fire Lance.[1]
