Jessica Dewitt was an officer within the Third Avalon Hussars.

She was the first person to be awarded the Medal Excalibur, the highest military honor to be awarded by the Federated Suns. During an attack on Robinson by the Draconis Combine, Dewitt and a small force of volunteers held back the advancing Combine forces while the people of Robinson conducted an orderly evacuation.[1]
