Julie "Julz" Kolchak was a freelance mercenary MechWarrior during the Dark Age Era.[1]
History[edit]
Kolchak was considered by others to be attractive but intimidating.[2]
She was reputed to have won her current 'Mech in a bet on Solaris VII, after which she set about learning the mercenary trade. While the whereabouts of the 'Mech Kolchak had prior this betting win were unknown, it was rumored she was looking to build up her own mercenary unit.[1]
BattleMech[edit]
Kolchak was known to have piloted a NSR-K1-M Night Stalker BattleMech, nicknamed "Jack".[1]
Notes[edit]
- Julz and her pilot art were based on Julie Haehn, the testing coordinator for game company WizKids, which developed the MechWarrior: Dark Age Collectable Miniatures Game.[2]
- The surname "Kolchak" and the 'Mech name Night Stalker were together a reference to Kolchak: The Night Stalker, a 1970s American TV series.[2]
