"Lizzie" Willick was a longtime member of the original Gale Force Nine team, responsible for designing and sculpting some of the most iconic pieces in GF9's Battlefield in a Box range including those released for MechWarrior: Dark Age Collectable Miniatures Game.
Lizzie was a consummate hobbyist, miniature painter, sculptor, and mold maker. While working at a local game store in her home of Slidell, LA, she came to the attention of the sales team at Games Workshop. In turn she was invited to join the staff of the original Games Workshop Memphis Battle Bunker and store. Lizzie was recruited to join the team at Gale Force Nine. At GF9 Lizzie continued to design awe-inspiring game tables and, along with Jason Buyaki, she created GF9’s Battlefield in a Box range of prepainted terrain sets. She also was responsible for many of the iconic buildings in Battlefront’s range of buildings for Flames of War and Team Yankee. She passed away in November 2019 after a two year battle with cancer.
