Mel Brossard was a member of the Brossard family, one of Ormstown's powerful feuding families.[1]
In February 3073, House Mair associates, according to a Brossard loyalist, "had their way with" Mel, provoking an armed response by family head Malcolm Brossard.[2] Mair forces, aided by a spy among the Brossards, took advantage of Malcolm's absence to attack the Brossard manor, which was protected by four LCAF veterans. The result of this battle is unknown.[1]
