Michael Tate was a MechWarrior who participated in the 3135 Grand Tournament.

Tate was a fan-favorite, and had been loved by them during the years and they expected a lot of him during the Grand Tournament. He had eliminated his opponent of the first round, but in the second round he was unfortunately matched with Levi Haynes in his Marauder IIC 2, which made short work of him and his Goshawk.[1]
