The BattleTech Tactical Map Case is a branded dedicated container for the mapsheets and especially the new neoprene BattleMats that came out over the course of the BattleTech: Clan Invasion Kickstarter campaign which ran from 18 July to 18 August 2019. Designed to hold up to two neoprene BattleMaps, it includes a small container for dice, tokens, etc. and features a shoulder strap.
The case was initially offered as a free bonus item for backers who ordered four of more of the new neoprene BattleMats as add-ons during the crowdfunding campaign, and was also available as a standalone add-on item for $25.
It was subsequently also sold through retail stores.

- This product bears a "(c) 2019" copyright notice on the outer packaging, but as far as could be established it was only released in 2021.
- The MSRP given in the infobox is the add-on price from the crowdfunding campaign, and is roughly what retailers typically asked. The publisher/producer (Catalyst Game Labs) had it listed for $18.95 in their online store, but it was marked as sold out or otherwise unavailable at the time of this writing (March 2024).
