Major General Garver was in league with Colonel Mary MacIntosh as of 2764, XLII Corps' IIa (logistics officer) officer, as he sought to provide his 259th BattleMech Division with a larger share of more modern BattleMechs from the limited supply in the SLDF's logistics system.[2]
This was part of his struggle as the CO of a 'Mech Division, within a Corps with a CO in Major General Winnie Museveni who strongly favored combat vehicles, though he continued to ensure his troops were capable of any mission they might be assigned.[1]
