Part of the Lyran Guards' fourth division, the Thirty-ninth Lyran Guards were one of the most notable victims of Operation CATALOG in the later decades of the Star League. After CATALOG revealed the Thirty-ninth was completely riddled with criminal elements, the Lyran Commonwealth Armed Forces took the extraordinary step of disbanding the entire regiment along with the similarly tainted Thirty-first, permanently striking the Thirty-ninth's colors from the active rolls of the LCAF.[1]
