Alex Fauth is an Australian based BattleTech fan and author who has written Grand Theft Agro and Zero Signal for BattleCorps as well as Homecoming in the Legacy Anthology.

Fauth, whose Classic BattleTech forum handle and Sarna handle is "Deadborder", also submitted the Big Kev's Brigade as one of the fan submitted mercenary unit names selected by Catalyst Game Labs for use in the Second Succession War sourcebook [1], which he later expanded upon in Shrapnel magazine, Issue 9, Unit Digest: Big Kev's Brigade.

Fauth would contribute a canonized version of the Blazing Aces mercenary unit from the original MechWarrior video game in Shrapnel magazine, Issue 15.
