History

After the overwhelming success of the TAS Pathfinder's discovery of many habitable worlds during a two year survey, the Terran Alliance authorized the construction of the first colony JumpShip in 2114. This first ship was christened the TAS Ark but production problems stopped the launch of the ship until 2116.

The TAS Ark launched under the leadership of Martin Cabot with almost five hundred colonists bound for the existing scientific outpost on New Earth, founding the first interstellar colony.
