History[edit]

The SLS Augustus was a JumpShip of unknown class that was reported lost in a misjump to Dieron in 2709. When it appeared at that system nadir in 2974, the Draconis Combine Mustered Soldiery immediately moved to seize her.

No official DCMS report exists and House Kurita denied the incident, but ComStar reports said the inspection team found the entire crew frozen dead with faces contorted in horror. When the computers began to go haywire, the inspection team was evacuated, just before the ship began another anomalous jump. Since then, dozens of skippers in the system have reported the presence of a ghostly WarShip that disappears almost immediately.[1]
